The Platform operates as a technology-enabled intermediary that facilitates connections between users seeking driving services and independent drivers willing to provide such services, based on the user's needs and requirements. The Company does not provide transportation services, does not own, lease, insure, manage, or control any vehicle, and does not act as a payment intermediary between users and drivers.

This Privacy Policy is framed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable laws in India.

1. Applicability and Scope

1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to all persons who access or use the Platform, including users, drivers, and any other users.

1.2 This Privacy Policy governs all personal data collected, processed, stored, or otherwise handled by the Company in connection with the operation, administration, and facilitation of the Platform.

1.3 This Privacy Policy is limited strictly to data protection and privacy matters and does not govern contractual, commercial, or service-related rights and obligations, which are addressed separately.

2. Definitions

2.1 "Applicable Law" means all laws, statutes, rules, regulations, guidelines, notifications, and governmental directions in force in India.

2.2 "User" means any person above the age of 18 years who uses the Platform to request, schedule, or avail driving services.

2.3 "Driver" means any individual registered on the Platform to offer driving services to users, as a freelancer, contractual, or independent basis.

2.4 "Data Principal" means the individual to whom the personal data relates.

2.5 "Data Fiduciary" means the Company, which determines the purpose and means of processing personal data.

2.6 "Personal Data" means any data relating to an identifiable individual, directly or indirectly, including sensitive personal data as defined under Applicable Law.

2.7 "Processing" includes collection, storage, use, disclosure, transmission, retrieval, retention, or any other operation performed on personal data.

2.8 "Platform" means the website and mobile application operated by the Company.

2.9 "Trip" means the period during which a driver is assigned to and provides services to a user through the Platform.

2.10 "Automated Processing" means processing carried out through technological systems without direct human intervention for specific operational purposes.

3. Role of the Company and Limitation of Responsibility

3.1 The Company functions solely as a facilitator and intermediary providing technological infrastructure to enable connections between users and drivers only.

3.2 The Company does not supervise, direct, or control how driving services are performed and does not guarantee the conduct, performance, behaviour, or actions of any driver or user.

3.3 Any arrangement for driving services is strictly between the user and the driver. The Company's responsibility is limited to facilitating access to the Platform and processing personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, to the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law.

5. Categories of Personal Data Collected

5.1 User personal data may include name, contact details, email address, location data for booking (collected only when the user is actively using the map screen to select a pickup location), booking details, Trip history, feedback submitted through the Platform, device and usage information, Vehicle-related information and other data customarily required for similar platforms and under Applicable Law.

5.2 Driver personal data may include identity details, contact information, residential address, Aadhaar number, PAN, driving licence details, police verification records, bank account information for settlement of driver obligations towards the Company, ratings or feedback displayed on the Platform, compliance documentation, and other data required by law or reasonably necessary for verification, safety, and platform integrity.

5.3 Technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, cookies, session logs, and analytics data may be collected to ensure platform functionality, security, and performance improvement.

5.4 Audio Recording and Speech-to-Text: The Platform may request microphone access to enable voice booking features, allowing users to book driving services through voice commands. Audio data is processed in real-time using speech-to-text technology to convert voice commands into text for booking purposes. Audio recordings are NOT stored, saved, or retained by the Company. Audio data is processed immediately and discarded after conversion to text. Microphone access is optional, and users may choose to use text-based booking instead of voice features. Audio data is processed locally on the device or through secure third-party speech recognition services, subject to their respective privacy policies.

6. Purpose of Data Use

6.1 Personal data is processed for facilitating connections between users and drivers, displaying pricing information, enabling bookings, OTP-based authentication, Trip execution, safety monitoring, emergency response, feedback display, dispute handling, analytics, platform improvement, fraud prevention, voice booking features through speech-to-text processing, and compliance with Applicable Law.

6.2 The Company does not process personal data for purposes that are excessive, unrelated, or inconsistent with the functioning of the Platform.

7. Pricing Display and Payment-Related Information

7.1 The Platform displays applicable charges for driving services in advance to ensure transparency, standardization, and informed decision-making by users. Such charges are determined in accordance with the Platform's pricing logic and are applicable at the time of booking, subject to revision prior to booking confirmation.

7.2 Drivers are not permitted to arbitrarily alter or independently decide pricing beyond what is displayed on the Platform.

7.3 Users make payments directly to drivers outside the Platform. The Company does not provide any mechanism for collecting, transmitting, holding, routing, or settling payments between users and drivers.

7.4 While cash payments are not prohibited, the Company encourages the use of online payment methods for safety, traceability, and record-keeping purposes, as such methods generate independent transaction records that may assist in resolving disputes.

7.5 The Company may reference limited payment-related information only where reasonably necessary for dispute resolution, compliance with Applicable Law, audit requirements, or prevention of misuse, without assuming responsibility for payment execution or settlement.

8. OTP Authentication and Verification

8.1 OTP-based authentication is used for user login, Trip commencement, and Trip completion to ensure security and service integrity.

8.2 OTP data is processed and retained only for such duration as is reasonably necessary for authentication, audit, and compliance purposes.

9. Location Data and Safety Monitoring

9.1 Location data is collected only when the user is actively using the map screen to select a pickup location for booking. Location access is limited to the foreground (when the app screen is visible) and is used solely to auto-fill the pickup address from GPS coordinates. The app does not track location in the background or during active trips.

9.2 Location access is automatically stopped when the user leaves the map screen or completes the booking process. The pickup location coordinates selected by the user are stored with the booking and shared with drivers to enable navigation to the pickup point.

9.3 Location data may be shared with drivers (for navigation purposes), emergency contacts, internal safety teams, or lawful authorities where reasonably required for safety or legal compliance.

10. Automated Decision-Making

10.1 Certain operational functions, including driver matching, availability assessment, safety alerts, and platform integrity checks, may involve Automated Processing.

10.2 Such processing is implemented to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality and does not produce legally significant effects without appropriate oversight, to the extent required under Applicable Law.

11. Accidents, Incidents, and Emergencies

11.1 In the event of accidents, incidents, or emergencies, relevant personal data may be shared with insurers, emergency responders, medical facilities, or legal authorities strictly on a need-to-know basis and only to the extent reasonably necessary.

12. Data Sharing and Disclosure

12.1 Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers and technical partners engaged for legitimate business purposes safety, subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations.

12.2 Personal data may also be disclosed pursuant to court orders, statutory requirements, or lawful governmental directions.

13. Data Retention, Account Deactivation, and Deletion

13.1 Personal data is retained only for such period as is required under Applicable Law or reasonably necessary for lawful business purposes.

16.1 The Platform is not intended for independent use by minors.
